I shall be taking the metro on Thursday from andheri to ghatkopar.
I shall be buying a smartcard,and getting it charged for rs.50.I shall swipe the card for rs.10 for the trip.no suppose I am unable to get off at ghatkopar because people are rushing in,and I am stuck inside and am able to get off only at the next station,then would I not be considered a ticketless traveller for that one station for no fault of mine?better to have a monthly pass or a return ticket,wich Mumbai metro has not yet started issuing.
I may also take the metro tomorrow from andheri to versova.lets see how it goes.i have taken the metro in Dubai and Paris., and from the looks of it ,it is on par.the difference here is I feel this is mine too..that was not the case in Dubai.,even though I was a resident there.of course,dubai metro was not crowded at all..but it was a bit cold and impersonal..
